Hide dock icon option doesn't work with activate chat shortcut

When using the keyboard shortcut to close the chat the dock icon still says hidden even though the option 'Hide dock icon when the last window is closed' is turned on.

v1.15.19 (build 62) on Sonoma 14.5

Technically when using the keyboard shortcut, it hides the window, not closing it.

This has multiple benefits:

no need to re-render when you bring it back
your pending prompt remains the same
any unsaved state is kept (upload images, sidebar state etc)
generally faster

Now I’m thinking about the UX when using the keyboard shortcut. Honestly I don’t want it to hide the dock icon, then show it, then hide it again. Super annoying.

I’m wondering why would you want that behavior
