I followed the steps you described and generated an API key from Perplexity. I copied and pasted it in the API Key field. I tried all the Default model but every time I try to save changes I got the error message :

"Your request was rejected. Please double check your input"

I really don't see why it's not working. I am on the pro plan so I ignored the Biu credits part (and I still have my 5 USD credits).
