Wrong double quotes in chat within markdown block when typing code by hand

Reproducer:

New chat
Type triple backtick to open markdown block
write some double quotes
see them translated to typographic double quotes, instead of straight ones (like the ones used in programming)

My suggestion is to prevent typographic double quotes at all costs. As the simple ones would work for non-code tasks as well.
