User Story:
As a frequent user of BoltAI, I highly appreciate the app's flexibility and have become an avid promoter of its features to my peers. However, I've encountered a minor yet impactful issue that hinders my workflow efficiency. Currently, BoltAI offers a convenient keyboard shortcut that closes the current window and copies the last reply to the clipboard—an ingenious feature, indeed. However, after activating this shortcut, BoltAI remains the active application instead of reverting to the previously active app. This behavior, albeit small, becomes a significant inconvenience with extensive daily use.
Feature Request:
  1. Automatic Switch-Back to Last Active App: After using the keyboard shortcut to close the BoltAI window and copy the last reply, the application should automatically switch back to the last active app. This improvement would streamline the workflow for heavy users like myself, reducing friction and enhancing overall productivity.
  2. Direct Insertion to Last Active App: Taking inspiration from the DeepL desktop app's killer feature, it would be exceptionally beneficial if BoltAI could not only switch back to the last active application but also directly insert the last reply into the currently selected field or area in that app. This functionality would drastically reduce the need for multiple interactions, saving precious time for those who rely on BoltAI's capabilities throughout their day.
I understand the intention behind BoltAI's design for inline use. However, I often find the necessity to interact with an LLM in a more extensive manner, which is why I prefer using the windowed mode. Implementing these suggested improvements would significantly enhance my user experience, and I believe it would be highly appreciated by the community as well.
