OpenAI whisper can be used offline by downloading the models. Users can select a folder where the models are located. Please add support for this.

I agree with Vec. For offline transcription, I highly recommend you to use superwhisper or MurmurType.
Adding support for offline models in BoltAI can be super time consuming as I need to handle compatibility issues between mac OS versions / architecture.
For example: it usually doesn't work with Intel-based macs

To be frank using offline models is very slow.
It's slow mainly for when start recoding, it takes 1-2s to load the big model.
and I've known multi-app that reply on offline transcripbe like MurmurType or superwhisper.
Personally I would prefer the current online way, very fast for both input and output.
