Load all messages by default or allow it with a single click

When I open a conversation, only a few messages show up at first. It's kind of a hassle to load older messages bit by bit, especially since it takes a while. It'd be awesome to see more messages right away when I open a chat. If there needs to be a limit, having an option to load all past messages at once would be super helpful.

I'd personally prefer a beachball over the messages popping in. You can't really read them while they're popping in one-by-one, so waiting for them all at once feels like it could be better UX.
That being said, if it was possible to just load 1-2 "pages" worth of content at once and load the rest one-by-one, I'd probably prefer that. And instead of a beachball, a loading state in the UI itself.

Thanks. I will add the option to load all messages. But it was because of performance reason.
It might result in a beachball though

Thanks Daniel Nguyen!! Another feature that could really help with browsing a conversation is the ability to jump between messages using shortcuts like Opt-Arrow Up and Down. It would also be great to have the option to show only the first few lines of previous messages, with the ability to expand each one. This is especially useful when working with long pieces of code.

Daniel Nguyen Is there a way to increase RAM usage for the app (unless unlimited already)? This could be a complementary feature

Jaroo Ulj: Hi. What do you mean increase RAM usage for the app? 😅

One more thing, when loading previous messages, it would be helpful if it doesn't jump to the beginning of those messages because it can be a bit disorienting. It would be better to maintain the scroll position where it was.
