Make other types of chats visible

For now, we can only view the default active chats in the main window. If we want to view the inline/archive chats, we must use a hotkey or click the menu bar, which is so inconvenient. I don't even realize we have the inline/archive chats option. 🥹 Please add a switch visual element in UI to make it easier to switch to other types of chats.

How about swiping right or left on the sidebar to switch between Active, Favorite, Inline, and Archived?
You can assign ⌥+⌘+→ and ⌥+⌘+← to switch without swiping.
Also, imo that favorited chats should just be pinned at the top of the sidebar rather than in their own view (defeats the purpose if I need to switch views, I just want to be able to quickly access them).
At the very least, allow the user to assign their own keyboard shortcuts for switching between these views.

Pierce C I agree on "allow the user to assign their own hotkey", this is very useful

One way that made it a little easier for me is to remap the chat hotkeys in macOS keyboard settings for Bot AI app to be cmd+1, cmd+2, etc. Removing the ctrl part is a little easier with my fingers.

Roger Kint: I was thinking about this but I'm undecided between using cmd+1, cmd+2 etc. for switching between chats. Eg: cmd+1 switch to first chat and cmd+2 for second chat.
I'm convinced we don't need to switch to other type of chat (favorited / archived) often. While we do want to switch quickly between 2 chats.

I will think more about this. I understand it's hard to discover these chat categories but at a same time, I don't want to show too many buttons in the main Chat UI.
It's a challenging UX problem that I will find a good solution.

Daniel Nguyen Maybe visual element like this (in Craft App) would introduce minimal visual disturbance, you can put the Chat Types in such a dropdown menu.

realCrush great idea!

realCrush: Does this look good?
realCrush
Daniel Nguyen It looks good! But the arrow doesn't seem to be in the center of the active area. This seems different from the style on Craft and Safari; it seems like their activation area (gray rectangle) is much slimmer and the arrows are centered.
