As time flies prompts gets more sophisticated over time. I need a way to organize the prompts I have created and other ones I have come across the web in a easy to access database. I suggest some integration with Obsidian to save your prompts or your own feature where its easy to tag prompts so that they are readily available searchale and usable while in the chat.

I agree it would be nice to at least have the app use a user-specified directory for assistant configurations and MCP. I put all of my prompts in a git repo to sync between machines and was about to try and build something to prime it into the database, but having it use markdown files and something like frontmatter fields for the other settings that go along with the instructions would be a lot easier to manage. The same could be said for MCPs, since that currently puts a dotdir in the home directory and messes with my XDG folder standards OCD 🙃

I too use obsidian :D Automatic Table of Content plugin + Headings for different prompts. Would be great to integrate with .md files like this Daniel Nguyen
